Honda Gresini riders Toni Elias and Marco Melandri have been cleared to race at the upcoming Czech MotoGP at Brno after passing fitness tests.
Elias has been out of action since breaking his femur during the Dutch Grand Prix at Assen while Melandri rode through the pain of a broken ankle to produce a podium finish at Laguna Seca.
But, having made it through a two-hour fitness test at the Misano circuit in Italy, both riders are set to appear for Gresini in the southern Czech Republic city.
"I have pain, but it's better than Laguna," Melandri told Motogp.com.
"I will do my best in Brno. My bike is working well and I'm really motivated for the second part of the championship."
This is Melandri's final season with Gresini, as the Italian has already agreed to team up with Australian World MotoGP championship leader Casey Stoner at Ducati next season. Sportal
