LifeStyle: ModaItalia - F4cc motorcycle hits the Gold Coast Print E-mail
Thursday, 10 May 2007

The Italian F4cc motorbike hits Australian shores - AusItalia.comThe world's most expensive and possibly fastest production motorcycle, linked to Ferrari, has arrived on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.

The Paul Feeney Group has imported two early production MV Agusta F4 CC bikes each worth $185,000 and capable of speeds of 315km/h.

Mr Feeney said both motorbikes had been sold to private buyers but he said he could possible get one more of the 100 bikes made if a buyer was quick. So if you're in the market you best make up your mind quick!

AusItalia.com - the new F4cc motorcycleThe F4 CC is named after MV Agusta president Claudio Castiglioni who receives one, leaving 99 for the rest of the world.

"I decided to put my name to this bike as I originally dreamed of it for myself". This is how Claudio Castiglioni, the Managing Director referred to the new F4 that now carries his initials "CC".

The boss of MV did what any of us might well have done and gave in to his inner instincts, gave in to the temptation to create a motorbike, not just to meet strategic market needs, but to create something really special, something truly magnificent - just for the sake of it. To create the F4CC project, he obviously utilised everything at his disposal; exclusive materials and the latest technology to attain the utmost in performance.

Although costing less than half the price of the cheapest Ferrari, the F4 has a link with its exotic Italian automotive cousin.

Piero Ferrari, the son of Enzo, designed the MV's unique radial-valve four-cylinder engines for the F4. The 'F' stands for Ferrari.

The F4 CC features a 1078cc engine with 150kw of power and comes with a Trussardi leather jacket and Girard-Perregaux watch.

MV Agusta won a record 18 premier class grand prix championships. Courier Mail/Rubbermag
