Formula One: Raikkonen to make Ferrari debut Print E-mail

FerrariKimi Raikkonen will make his Ferrari debut in a test at Italy's Vallelunga circuit tonight.

Raikkonen has yet to do any laps for his new Formula One team since leaving Mercedes-powered McLaren at the end of last year to replace Ferrari's retired seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher.

A Ferrari spokesperson says the 27-year-old Finn will drive last year's 248F1 car in a scheduled three-day test at the circuit near Rome while Brazilian team-mate Felipe Massa tests the new F20007.

Forecast bad weather has forced Ferrari to abandon plans to test at Mugello - much closer to their Maranello factory.
