BUDAPEST (Reuters) - Britain's Jenson Button ended his long wait for a Formula One victory on Sunday when he won a rain-hit Hungarian Grand Prix.
The Honda driver, who started 13th on the grid, hit the front when championship leader Fernando Alonso spun off and held on to give Honda its first win as a constructor since 1967.
Ferrari ended up with 8th (Massa) and 9th place (Schumacher), but the disqualification of BMW Sauber driver Robert Kubica for running his car too light, means Schumacher is awarded 1 point and closes the gap for the World Title to 10 points. David Coulthard of Red Bull Ferrari finished 5th, although team mate Christian Klein failed to finish, as did Liuzzi (Italy), Fisichella (Italy) and Webber (Australia). Toyota's Jarno Trulli retired with 5 laps to go. Grand Prix of Hungary at Hungaroring (Budapest) on Sunday
