Italian Cup: Inter Milan cruise into final (English/Italian) Print E-mail
Friday, 02 February 2007
Julio Cruz in action for InterInter Milan have eased through to the final of the Coppa Italia with a 0-0 draw with Sampdoria in the second leg of their semi-final.

Inter had won the first leg 3-0 in Genoa and never looked likely to surrender that advantage at the San Siro.

Coach Roberto Mancini used the game to rest several key players for this weekend's showdown with Roma and in Julio Cruz the Nerazzurri had the game's most impressive player.

Roma will also be Inter's opponents in the final after a 5-3 aggregate win over AC Milan in the other semi-final.

Inter remain on course for a treble of the Champions League, Serie A and the Coppa. PA Sport
