AusItalia.com welcomes Pierpaolo Laurenti G'day everybody! My name is Pierpaolo Laurenti and I'm the Italian reporter of AusItalia.com. I live in Turin, the Italian Winter Olympic City and I support Juventus.

Now it's world cup time, so I use to support Italy and Australia too. Unfortunately, in the first match between my favourite teams, Australia lost! In my personal opinion, there was no penalty to Italy or red card to Materazzi. Life! Last night we partied hard in Italy! What a game! It started at 9.oo pm (Italian time) and finished around 12.00. Everyone in the square with his flag or his own team jersey! All the people waiting anxiously for the end of the game! We all were thinking about penalties but... Grosso! Then Del Piero! Finale! Finale! Finale! All the people cheering in the steets, giving huges to everyone and singing! Italy rules! Just have a look: http://mediaserver.kataweb.it/tgrep/reuters/italianiinfesta.wmv
German press suggested to the Germans not to go to Pizzerias on German soil anymore! Dear Germans, do whatever you want, we're going to the world cup final and you must sit and watch, silently! Ciao for now! Pier |
