Stuart Law and AusItalian Michael Di Venuto both starred with the bat in Division One of the LV County Championship in England.
Stuart Law was the star of the show with a double century as Lancashire romped to a record victory over Roses rivals Yorkshire at Headingley Carnegie in Division One of the LV County Championship.
The 38-year-old Queenslander smashed 206 from 250 balls in Lancashire's first innings as the Red Rose thrashed the White Rose by an innings and 126 runs.
Law's innings was the highest individual score by a Lancashire batsman against Yorkshire in the history of the county championship and helped his side to its biggest win over its bitter rivals.
Victoria all-rounder Cameron White helped Division Two leaders Somerset defeat second placed Nottinghamshire thanks to a hundred and a six-wicket haul at Trent Bridge.
White played steadily for his first-innings 124 and then followed it up with 4-37 in Notts' second innings to add to his two wickets earlier in the match.
He then made an unbeaten 47 in his second knock to see his side to a six-wicket win that makes Somerset hot favourites for promotion.
Derbyshire captain Simon Katich battled to 167 and Tasmania batsman Travis Birt hit 74 in a losing cause against Leicestershire at Grace Road as the pair could not prevent their team falling to a 28-run defeat in Division Two.
Shane Warne and Andy Bichel picked up four-wicket hauls for their respective counties in the championship. Warne's 4-28 came in the second innings of Hampshire's 285-run win over Division One basement side Worcestershire at the Rose Bowl.
Bichel's figures of 4-34 were not enough to prevent Essex losing by 70 runs to Gloucestershire in Division Two at Southend.
Chris Rogers is in useful form for Northamptonshire Steelbacks in first-class and one day cricket. He made 69 in the County Championship division two draw with Glamorgan at Colwyn Bay in Wales.
The Western Australia batsman then followed this score up with 58 in Division One of the NatWest Pro40, but could not prevent the Steelbacks slipping to a six-wicket defeat against Nottinghamshire Outlaws.
Victoria batsman David Hussey also chipped in with three wickets for the Outlaws with his off-breaks.
Meanwhile, Michael Di Venuto's 57 proved to be in vain as Durham Dynamos lost by three wickets to Kent Spitfires in Pro40 Division Two. Sportal
