Roar's Brazilian star Reinaldo(sportal) The Queensland Roar have snared their first win of the A-League Pre-Season Cup after downing the New Zealand Knights 2-1 at North Harbour Stadium.

The Roar scored twice in a five-minute period early in the second half, and though Darren Bazeley pulled one back for the hosts soon after, they held on to secure seventh spot.

NZ Knights of the A LeagueAfter some impressive performances throughout the Pre-Season Cup, the Knights will be disappointed with their final match before the start of the season.
