Euromarque Maserati and Ferrari showroom in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley hosted the ModaItalia 2006 Fashion Spectacular on October 11th.

The Queensland Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) organised event thrilled over 500 invited guests and 'fashionistas' which saw Mark Velenton win a scholarship to Florence's Polimoda fashion institute.

Maria Maruca of the ICCI hosted the glamorous award night which saw 20 finalists compete for the 2006 title. Contestants are advised to design with Italian influence and inspiration and are judged before a panel of experts and professionals.

Italian prestige vehicles were on show and were complimented by numerous Australian-Italian corporate sponsors including Di Bella Coffee, AusItalia.com and San Benedetto.

DJ David Ferrini played the tunes for the Dally's models to strutt to as Bernie Bagley choreographed the parade.
