 Young Italo-Australians across Australia are preparing to attend the National Italian Australian Youth Conference sponsored by Co.As.It NSW to be held on the Gold Coast from 5th to 7th September 2008.
Registrants for the conference have been received from most states of Australia, involving young people between 18 to 35 years of age.
With the conference registration closing very soon, on August 20th, the conference convenor Sandra Pitronaci says that the event is something to be embraced by all Italo-Australians. This pivotal conference is an opportunity for youth to express their views and share their experiences of being Italian Australians.
Participants will have the chance to listen to a range of interesting speakers as well as dialoguing and interacting with their peers. The conference will be held at the Carrara Sports Complex and will be coupled with social events to allow the participants to network and enjoy themselves.
Marketing Director, Andrew Antenucci said that ‘any young person 18 – 35 could still attend. Although registrations close shortly on 20th August 2008 there is still the chance to take part. It doesn’t matter is interested people are not involved in any associations or clubs, registration is open to all within the age group’.

In Italian : “Solo una settimana per registrarsi all’evento dell’anno” Cresce l’entusiasmo per la Conferenza Nazionale dei Giovani Italiani Australia “Gold Coast, 5-7 Settembre 2008” Australia 10 Agosto 2008: Giovani Italo-Australiani provenienti da tutta l’Australia si stanno preparando per partecipare alla Conferenza Nazionale dei Giovani Italiani Australia, sponsorizzata dal Co.As.It NSW, che si terrà tra il 5 e 7 settembre 2008. Registrazioni sono arrivate da quasi tutti gli Stati d’Australia e rappresentano giovani d’età compresa tra i 18 e i 35 anni. Visto che le registrazioni chiuderanno presto, la scadenza è prevista per il 20 Agosto, la coordinatrice Sandra Pitronaci ha detto che questo evento è diretto a coinvolgere tutti gli Italo-Australiani. Il punto cruciale della conferenza sarà quello di dare la possibiltà ai giovani di esprimere le proprie opinioni e di condividere l’esperienza di essere Italiani Australiani. I partecipanti avranno l’occasione di ascoltare un esperto gruppo di oratori e allo stesso tempo di dialogare ed interagire tra loro. La conferenza si terrà presso il Carrara Sports Complex, ma sono previsti anche degli incontri mondani che daranno la possibiltà ai partecipanti di interagire e di divertirsi. Nonostante le registrazioni chiuderanno il 20 Agosto, c’è ancora tempo per iscriversi.
