Fashion: Italian Government to award Milan scholarship PDF Print E-mail

Sample ImageAre you an aspiring fashion designer with a general knowledge of the Italian language? Well the Landerer Scholarship of Italian Fashion Design could be just what you're looking for!

This year one of the Italian Government Scholarships will be awarded to a student that wishes to undertake a Fashion Design course in Italy. The course will take place at one of the best design schools in Europe the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan. The full time course is the One Year in Fashion and Textile Design (January to December 2009). This will be possible thanks to the generosity of an Australian donor, who has agreed to pay for the expensive fees of the Istituto and for the return airfare to Italy, in addition to the Italian Government Scholarship. Only this special scholarship will then cover the following:  ·         return airfare in economy class to and from Milan; ·         enrolment and course fees at the Istituto Europeo di Design (does not cover the cost of materials, which are at the expense of the student); ·         a monthly allowance

Although the lessons will be conducted in English, a working knowledge of Italian is necessary to apply for the scholarship. Please find enclosed the rules and regulations of the Italian Government scholarships. Applicants are required to complete the enclosed application form required by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stating that they wish to apply for the Landerer Scholarship of Italian Fashion Design and forward it in two copies, with the necessary documents, to the Italian Embassy in Canberra: Italian Embassy12 Grey StreetDeakin ACT 2600  Application forms can be downloaded also from our website: http://www.iicsydney.esteri.it  and clicking on the link:  Modulo ufficiale della domanda.  Applications must reach the Embassy no later than the 12th of May 2008. If you wish to obtain further information on the school and the course, you can visit their website www.ied.it  For further information please contact us, (02) 9392 7939 or via e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
