Australia's Kimberley Busteed competes at Miss Universe contest in Mexico, 2007 - AusItalia.comAustralia's entrant at the 2007 Miss Universe quest in Mexico was Kimberley Busteed.

The 18 year old from Gladstone in Queensland, Australia took the Miss Australia title in April 2007, replacing Erin McNaught - Miss Australia 2006 from Surfer's Paradise.

Kimberley Busteed, of Gladstone in QLD Australia represents AustraliaAfter some criticism regarding the teenage blonde glamour's attire (surf livesavers outfit) she responded with this : "Do they want me to dress up in a convict's outfit or something?"

Well personally I'm glad that Kimberely opted for the lifesaver attire, instead of something resembling David Attinborough fashion in the wild like last year.

Although Miss Busteed didn't win the competition she sure does have a future in the modelling industry. Well done on winning Miss Australia and good luck with your future Kimberley.

What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
I enjoy interacting with people and thoroughly enjoy watersports such as wakeboarding.

I would love to work in the field of hosting. I love public speaking and social interaction.

I was raised in a small country town with a population of about 25,000. I feel I am very lucky to have been born and raised in Gladstone because I was able to experience the locality and friendships that small towns create.

What do you want the judges to know about you?
I am a fun-loving, outgoing, generally happy person who thoroughly enjoys life and wants to experience all that is available.
